This is a new copy of "Astrud Gilberto, The Diva Series" CD on the Verve label, featuring some of the best known songs recorded by Astrud Gilberto.  It's a CD that features a wide range of rhythms and moods, delivered in Astrud Gilberto's unique and distinctive style.  It includes great songs such as "The Gentle Rain" and "Manha do Carnaval" (written by Luis Bonfa), "So Nice" (which Astrud recorded with Walter Wanderley), "Quiet Nights" (one of Jobim's classics), and the beautiful "Once Upon a Summertime" (written by Michel Legrand). Arrangements by great guys such as Gil Evans (one of Astrud's idols), Don Sebeski, Eumir Deodato, Marty Paitch, and the most talented Al Gorgoni, not to speak of the fabulous musicianship of all players & participants.

CD's outer wrapping will be removed, to allow for Astrud Gilberto to sign it or write a personal dedication on its front cover.

- Although we will accept requests for greetings suitable for special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, or "'get well", please take notice that we will not accept orders with requests for any specific wording.  No exceptions are made. 

- When making your payment, please include a message ("instructions to merchant") confirming the first name of the person to whom the dedication should be written to.

Shipping

- Order will be shipped by USPS (First Class Mail).  Although we are confident that USPS is a reliable entity with a reputation for efficient and timely deliveries, we cannot offer any guarantees regarding their service.  

- We will make our best efforts to fulfill your order no later than five business days after payment is received and cleared.  However, in the (rare) eventuality that this CD is not found in our stock at the time of your order, there might be a slight delay in shipment.  In such case, we will notify you by e-mail. 

- We have a no-refund & no return policy. 

-  USA orders:  Shipping and Handling charges for one CD  anywhere in the U.S.A. is US$3.50.
